Access Skyward Account

Your user name and password will be the same as they were in the prior system. However, if you use the mobile app, you’ll need to reset it to access the new system. See below for detailed instructions.

A great way to explore Family Access in Qmlativ is to complete Returning Student Information Verification. Even if you already submitted this in the old system, you’ll have a chance to review your data in Qmlativ - and see how streamlined the new experience is. It’s even mobile-friendly!

Note: Migration of attachments like report cards is still in progress. These may not be available until August 4, 2025.

• Utilize the “Forgot Your Username or Password” link on the login screen.
• Check your spam/junk folder for recovery emails.

1. Update the Skyward app through the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the app and locate your Hutto ISD account.
3. Tap Edit > Delete > Confirm deletion
4. Under Location Organization, search “Hutto” and select Hutto ISD
5. Log In:
   • Parents/Guardians: enter your login credentials and tap Add Account
   • Students/Staff: Tap Sign in using SSO and enter your district login credentials.

After setup, just tap Continue In App for future logins.

All staff should use the Sign in with SSO button to access Skyward Qmlativ.

Note: If you did not have access to student data (grades, attendance, etc.) in the old system, you likely will not have access in Qmaltiv either.
