Hutto High Graduates Record 485 Students; More Than $5 Million in Scholarships Offered
Hutto High School graduated a record 485 students at its 116th Commencement, Wednesday, May 29, at the HEB Center at Cedar Park.
The Class of 2019 was awarded more than $5 million in scholarships.
The Valedictorian for the class is Sarah Vasicek, and the Salutatorian is Karissa Varner. The other Top 10 students of the class are, in alphabetical order: Marc Benitez-Fernandez, Yasmina Cortes, Madelyn Fritz, Nicolas Lazzari, Megan Lorfing, Rowdy McBeath, Lauren McMaster, and Dex Parra.
Class officers are Dex Parra, President; Diego Fernandez, Vice-President; Radeya Siddiqui, Secretary; Madyson Moore, Treasurer; and Brady Nunn, Historian.
The class sponsor was Gant Caraway.
The Class of 2019 has been accepted to more than 75 colleges and universities and will also have students serving in all branches of the military.
Hutto ISD congratulates these students and wishes them well as they carry the Hippo Nation banner far and wide!
