New Student Registration
New student registration for all students (prekindergarten through 12th grade) begins on April 1. All registration must be completed online. If you currently have a student enrolled in the Hutto ISD prekindergarten program, your student will be automatically enrolled for their kindergarten year, but you will still need to complete returning student registration (see below).

If you have a Prekindergarten or Kindergarten student and do not have access to the internet or need assistance, the district will have two in-person registration sessions in which you will have access to a computer to register online. Returning Student Registration
Registration for all returning students (kindergarten through 12th grade) opens on May 2, 2022. Registration is required for all students, including current Hutto ISD students who will be returning to Hutto ISD for the 2022-2023 school year.

6th-12th Grade Virtual Academy Registration
New for the fall 2022-23 school year, Hutto ISD will have a Virtual Academy for secondary students. The ideal candidate for the program will be students who excel in a virtual, self-paced environment and need flexibility in their schedule due to extracurricular activities or participation in higher education programs. Students are able to participate in extracurricular activities at their zoned campus while enrolled virtually.

Application Considerations Include:

• No excessive history of unexcused absences
• Must have passed the most recent STAAR Assessments
• Must have a C or higher in all core classes

If interested in this program, whether in-district or out-of-district, you must submit a transfer request before April 22. After the transfer deadline, we will only accept students into the Virtual Academy as space permits up until the first day of school.
