Hutto ISD Celebrates School Renovations with Ribbon Cuttings

This month, Hutto ISD will hold multiple ribbon-cutting ceremonies to celebrate the recent completion of renovations at three of our campuses. The projects being recognized include additions, renovations, and modernizations to Hutto Elementary School, Farley Middle School, and Hutto Middle School. These renovations were all part of the 2019 bond.

Hutto Elementary School improvements include: 

  • replaced an existing classroom wing with a new, two-story building that includes classrooms, collaborative learning spaces, and an expanded media center/library.
  • renovated cafeteria and kitchen facilities
  • renovated and expanded administration, nurse, and conference areas
  • upgrades to classroom and library furniture and outdoor courtyards

Middle School improvements include:

  • modernization to the library/media center to include collaborative learning areas and breakout spaces
  • additions and improvements to the Fine Arts and CATE facilities that include a new band hall addition, designated dance and orchestra rooms, and modernizations and additions to the robotics and art programs 
  • new furniture in classrooms/library and replacement of HVAC and HVAC controls

The ribbon-cuttings for each project will take place at their respective campus and are open to the community. The dates and times for each campus's ribbon-cutting are listed below.
