Billie Logiudice Selected to Leadership TASB 2022 Class
Congratulations to Billie Logiudice, Hutto ISD Board of Trustees President, on her selection to the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) 2022 Leadership TASB Class!
The exclusive class of 36 school board leaders represents most of the 20 education regions in Texas. Leadership TASB was developed and designed for school board members by school board members as part of TASB's ongoing commitment to providing visionary leadership to Texas school boards.
Traditionally the year-long program consists of five weekend sessions lasting two to three days each. The program begins at the TASB State Convention and concludes at the Summer Leadership Institute. Nationally known speakers and experts in education and business address themes such as teamwork, trusteeship, equity, diversity, and visionary leadership.
Sessions rotate among different Texas cities and include visits to successful schools and innovative programs. Participants build relationships with colleagues from around the state while discovering solutions for today’s public education challenges and learning how to address the challenges the future is expected to bring.
Ms. Logiudice has been serving the Hutto ISD School Board since 2010 and is in her second year as board president.
Current board vice-president Terrence Owens participated in the Leadership TASB 2017-18 Class, and former board president Doug Gaul was selected in 2012.
