Hutto ISD Virtual Academy 23-24 Information Session
The Hutto ISD Virtual Academy will soon begin accepting applications for the 23-24 school year. Parents and students interested in the program are invited to attend a Virtual Prospective Parent Meeting next week on February 21 at 6 p.m.
The Hutto ISD Virtual Academy is designed to offer flexibility to students and families who have unique academic goals or needs that may better be supported in a self-directed virtual learning environment. The ideal candidate for the program will be 6th-12th grade students who excel in a virtual, self-paced environment or those who need flexibility in their schedule due to extracurricular activities or participation in higher education programs. Students are able to participate in extracurricular activities at their zoned campus while enrolled virtually.
Application Considerations Include:
-
Attendance
-
STAAR Assessments
-
Grades (Must have a C or higher in all classes)
-
Discipline record
-
Extenuating circumstances will be handled on a case by case basis
We will start accepting applications for the 23-24 school year the first week of March. More information on the application process and additional parent meeting times are coming soon. If you have questions about the Hutto ISD Virtual Academy, please email RHA.Virtual@huttoisd.net
