Legal Services

The Legal Services Department assists the Board of Trustees and district administration in understanding and complying with applicable laws and regulations. The department provides legal guidance, training, and support on a broad range of matters affecting district operations, including complaints and grievances; civil rights compliance under Title IX and Title VI; contracts and procurement; public information requests; and issues related to investigations, subpoenas, and litigation, as well as other legal matters that arise in the course of district operations.
