Testing for referred students will begin in January, 2026.

Nomination Process

Hutto ISD is committed to providing opportunities for gifted and talented students to demonstrate skills in self-directed learning, thinking, research, and communication, through the development of innovative products and performances that reflect individuality and creativity and are advanced in relation to students of similar age, experience, or environment.

Parents, guardians, teachers, other certified staff members, and community members may refer students who they believe exhibit the characteristics of giftedness.
