Hutto ISD has officially upgraded to the new and improved Skyward Qmlativ (Q) Student Information System for the 2025-2026 school year! This upgrade brings enhanced security, more intuitive navigation, and robust reporting tools - offering a better experience for families, students, and staff alike.

As with any major technology upgrade, there may be a few bumps along the way. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work through final steps to ensure a smooth and successful rollout!

Online enrollment opens April 1!

Secure your child's spot for the 2025-2026 academic year beginning April 1, 2025.
This is your chance to enroll new students and verify your information for your returning students online from the comfort of your home. 

Online new student registration begins April 1, 2025. All enrollment must be completed online. If you currently have a student enrolled in the Hutto ISD Pre-K program, your student will be automatically enrolled for their kindergarten year but you will still need to complete returning student enrollment.

Important Notice for Parents:
New Student Enrollment Applications submitted after Wednesday, August 6, 2025, may not be processed in time for students to start on the first day of school: Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

If you have already started but not completed an application, please complete and submit it as soon as possible. Once your student’s application is processed, the campus registrar will contact you directly with your student’s official start date. 

To help avoid delays in your application processing, please submit only one application per student and wait for follow-up from the campus registrar.

 

How do I know if my student’s enrollment has been processed?

You should have received:

  • An email with the subject line “Family Access Account Information” regarding your Skyward Qmlativ Family Access account.
  • A welcome email from your campus registrar that includes your student’s ID number and information about their first day of school.

Important Note for Prekindergarten Enrollment

Students enrolling in Prekindergarten must meet at least one eligibility criterion and submit current documentation to support it. Your student is not eligible to begin school until you receive all of the following:

  • An email confirming they qualify for the Prekindergarten program
  • The “Family Access Account Information” email
  • A welcome email from your campus registrar

Steps for New Student Enrollment:

  1. Click the button above to begin online enrollment.
  • Be ready to provide information about the last school attended.
  • Be ready to provide the name, phone number, and address of emergency contacts.
  • Have a digital copy of documents ready to upload: birth certificate, Social Security card, parent ID, immunization records, and proof of residence such as a utility bill or lease agreement.

Steps for Returning Students - Under 10 minute process!

  1. Log into your Skyward Family Access account and verify student information. *Check your email for an automatic password and log-in reminder from the Technology Department/Skyward.

  2. If you need to reset your Skyward password, click the “Forgot Your Login/Password” link located on the Skyward login page below the username and password box. 

  3. Hutto ISD requires a new Proof of Residency (current utility bill, lease, or mortgage statement) each year for:
    a. Students who have moved and require a change of address.
    b. Students who will be in grades 3, 6, or 9 for the 2024-2025 school year.

 

Having trouble logging in?

  • Utilize the “Forgot Your Username or Password” link on the login screen.
  • Check your spam/junk folder for recovery emails.
