Whether your family is new to Hutto ISD or returning for another school year, this page will help you find the right next step quickly.

New to Hutto ISD

Enroll a student who is new to Hutto ISD.

Enrollment is opened for the 2026-2027 school year, including the Hutto Virtual Academy.

New Student Enrollment Is Open

Enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year is now available online.

Families can complete enrollment from home by submitting the online application and uploading required documents.

Online new student enrollment for 2026–2027 is now open. All enrollment must be completed online.

Pre-K to Kindergarten

If your child is currently enrolled in the Hutto ISD Pre-K program, they will be automatically enrolled for kindergarten, but you will still need to complete returning student verification.

Returning Students: Annual Verification

Returning families will verify student information through Skyward Qmlativ Family Access beginning July 1, 2026. If you have an address change before then, please submit the Address Change Request through your Family Access account.

Important Notice for Parents

New Student Enrollment Applications submitted after Wednesday, August 6, 2026 may not be processed in time for students to start on the first day of school, Tuesday, August 12, 2026.

If you have already started but not completed an application, please submit it as soon as possible. Once your student’s application is processed, the campus registrar will contact you directly with your student’s official start date.

To help avoid delays, please submit only one application per student and wait for follow-up from the campus registrar.

How Will I Know My Student’s Enrollment Has Been Processed?

You should receive both of the following:

  • An email with the subject line “Family Access Account Information” regarding your Skyward Qmlativ Family Access account
  • A welcome email from your campus registrar that includes your student’s ID number and information about their first day of school

Important Note for Prekindergarten Enrollment

Students enrolling in Prekindergarten must meet at least one eligibility criterion and submit current documentation to support it.

Your student is not eligible to begin school until you receive all of the following:

  • An email confirming they qualify for the Prekindergarten program
  • The “Family Access Account Information” email
  • A welcome email from your campus registrar
