If you would like your student to participate in the Paid Prekindergarten program, you must first complete the Prekindergarten Lottery Application and submit the necessary documentation. Once you have submitted your form, you will receive an automated email with instructions for how to provide the required documentation. The following documents are required:

Under age 11: a certified copy of the birth certificate is required per Code of Criminal Procedures, Article 63.019. If you are unable to produce a certified copy of the birth certificate within 30 days from enrollment, or up to 90 days from enrollment for a child not born in the United States you must provide one of the examples from the over age 11 list and a signed note explaining why you are unable to produce a certified copy of the birth certificate.
- Proof of Residence. Please provide at least one of the following:
- Current utility bill (water, electricity, gas, or sewer)
- Current lease
- Current mortgage statement
- If you are living with someone and not on a lease, please provide a signed letter along with an acceptable Proof of Residence example from above in their name and a copy of their photo ID.
Those not able to complete the Lottery Application online (ie. do not have access to a computer or need translation assistance), may attend an Early PK/Kinder Enrollment information session and Enrollment Event
