We are dedicated to the Mission of Hutto ISD which is to Inspire Excellence in Academics, Character, and Community.
The Mission of the School Support Services Department is to create a school district system that ensures every student receives a quality education no matter what classroom or campus.
We accomplish this by providing students with an excellent education through an aligned curriculum and assessment process with high expectations and accountability standards that will prepare students to be successful and positively impact both the community of Hutto and a global community.

Interim Assessments are formative assessments that measure the written curriculum designated to be taught during the periods prior to the assessment based on the instructional calendar and are used to inform instructional decisions. The interim assessments serve three purposes:
- To identify students who need additional time and support
- To help teachers judge the effectiveness of instructional strategies
- To gauge alignment of curriculum and instruction
Following Each Interim Assessment: Teams of teachers, administrators, and instructional specialists will meet to discuss data, validate assessments, revise and edit exams, monitor student progress and make instructional adjustments.
If you have a question about your child’s interim assessments, please contact your student's teacher.
