Ryan Burns

It is with great pride that I serve the students, parents, staff, and community as the principal of Farley Middle School.  I have had the honor of working in Hutto ISD for the last 6 years, serving as an assistant principal and then associate principal of Hutto High School.  I am excited to be in my second year as principal at Farley and to work with our staff to make certain our students are prepared for high school and post-secondary success.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts at Texas Tech University and then completed my Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University.  Prior to my career in administration, I taught Resource English classes and coached football and baseball at L.C. Anderson High School in Austin. I then taught Professional Communications courses and was the head baseball coach at John B. Connally High School in Pflugerville.
I believe in providing opportunities for all students, staff, and families to be connected to Farley Middle School.  Our combined efforts will continue to make Farley a premier school.
Please feel free to reach out if you are ever in need of assistance.  I am blessed to serve this community and welcome all support for our students.
