Hi! My name is Amanda O'Banan and I am a second grade teacher here at Ray Elementary. I am a first year teacher and I am so excited to be in second grade! I am a recent graduate from St. Edward's University where I studied interidsciplinary studies and completed my student teaching. My passion is empowering students in the classroom and teaching thorugh interactive activities. I strive to build a safe and comfortable environment for my students so that they can become lifelong learners. When I am not teaching, I enjoy being outside, and spending time with my wonderful group of friends and family.
