I am so excited to be joining the Hutto Hippo Family! This will be my 10th year in education. I taught 2nd grade for 3 years, and this will be my 7th year teaching 3rd grade! I am both GT qualified and ESL certified. I was so blessed to be able to attend the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. This training showed me how to incorporate fun, dance, and music to rigorous expectations and helping students become leaders in the classroom and in life. 

I am married and have two beautiful daughters, Maddie and Mackenzie. They keep my heart full, my belly laughing, and very entertained. In my spare time I love spending time with my family, working out, eating good foods, and reading books.

I truly have a passion for teaching and I am so grateful to wake up and do what I love everyday!
