Thursday May 23, 2024
    Gates Open: 6:30 p.m.
    Ceremony Begins at 8 p.m.

  • Photography

Parents can visit cady.com/graduation to search for their student's photos. They can also visit events.cady.com to search for any candid photos taken of their seniors if they would like to purchase them.
For those that were photographed, parents and seniors should have received an alert that their graduation photos are ready, since those photos are linked to their accounts in the company's system.

Parking and Shuttle Services

  • Parking

Senior students will arrive for graduation at 5:30 p.m., and be dropped off at the PAC or HHS Gym. Because of the modernization of Hutto High School, there will be limits on parking, so it’s important that senior students are dropped off and do not drive their own vehicles.

Parking for the graduation ceremony will be available at Hutto Memorial Stadium and has been greatly enhanced as newly-paved parking areas are now open. (See areas outlined in orange on the map below.) Guests may enter the parking lot from the front of HHS off Chris Kelley and by the stadium entrance on Front Street. Please use caution when entering these areas as they do not yet have striping or sidewalks. Drop-offs will be available for anyone with limited mobility at the main entrance of the stadium. Additional parking will be available at Nadine Johnson Elementary School. Handicapped parking spaces are limited and available predominantly on the home side of the stadium, with a few on the visitor side.

  • Shuttle Services

The district will provide air-conditioned shuttle buses to and from the graduation ceremony beginning at 6:15 p.m. The shuttles will continue every 15 minutes until the event begins and will resume immediately following the commencement ceremony and will run continuously for 45 minutes after the ceremony is complete.

Shuttle pick-ups for residents in the northern part of the city will be located at the East Williamson County Higher Education Center (EWCHEC), 1600 Innovation Blvd, Hutto, TX 78634. The southern pick-up location will be at Adam Orgain Park, 1001 County Road 137, Hutto.

The North Shuttle from EWCHEC will drop passengers off behind the scoreboard. The South Shuttle from Adam Orgain Park will drop passengers off on the Visitor side of the stadium.

Entering Hutto Memorial Stadium

  • Gate Entrance

There will be three entrances for guests: home side, visitor side, and an entrance by the scoreboard. Seating is first come, first served. Please plan to arrive early for your preferred seating area. This is not a ticketed event. Entry is free.

    Graduates will be seated alphabetically

During the week of graduation, students will be notified of seating arrangements.

Fenced access for pedestrian traffic will be in place on the north end of the track (under the scoreboard) to allow spectators to find seating on the side of the stadium their graduate is closest to.

Post-Event Celebration

  • Field Access
Graduates and guests must depart the stadium 45 minutes after the conclusion of the ceremony or as indicated by stadium staff. No prohibited items (see list below) will be allowed on the field. Additionally, guests must wear appropriate footwear to be allowed on the turf. Event security will deny field access to anyone wearing heels, or other footwear that will damage the turf.

Inclement Weather Plan

The district will monitor real-time weather, utilize weather detection tools, and consult with local emergency management partners up to and during the event to make decisions and to keep graduates and attendees safe. As a general rule, UIL weather protocols for outdoor extracurricular activities will be followed.
