Hi! 

I'm Jamal Gibson and I am the P.E. teacher here at Howard Norman. I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with a degree in Social Sciences and after a few years of being a real estate agent I decided to get my teacher's certification. This is my second-year teaching and I really enjoy being a part of the Hutto Hippo community. My favorite part about being a PE teacher is giving my students a chance to try new things. The gym is a safe environment for them to be active and explore several options of fitness. 

Here are a few facts about me:

* My wife and I have a 3-year-old daughter named Sonny and we're expecting a baby boy in May.

* My favorite sport is baseball and I'm a lifelong New York Yankees fan.

* In my free time I like to build furniture or anything that involves being outdoors.
