My name is Denise Hartline and I am excited to serve as the school counselor at Howard Norman Elementary this year.  I graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor’s in Business and from Southeastern Oklahoma with a Masters in School Counseling.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 27 years and we have four children (Desirae, Maddie, Aidan, Alex) and a sweet granddaughter, Elena. 

When we are not attending volleyball games and soccer tournaments we love to spend time as a family playing games and hanging out.  We are usually the family that everyone is staring at in restaurants because we are laughing so much.  Our favorite place is Pine Cove in Tyler, Texas where we have been going to family camp for 19 years.  I also love going on walks, reading, painting, logic puzzles and doing anything creative!
