Hi. My name is Steven Bloom and I teach English 3: American Literature.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I've been married for over ten years to the most wonderful woman in the world. I have two kids. You can see all of us in the picture. That's us at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin.
As you might have guessed from the photo, I love to travel. Not only have I been to Germany, but also Austria, the Netherlands, China, Cambodia, Belize, Nicaragua, and others. I've scuba dived off an island in Thailand, went whitewater rafting in Belize, and rode a camel into the Sahara desert.
I also love books. I'm always reading something, so go ahead and ask me about it and I'll tell you what book I've been getting into.
I'm so excited to share my passion for literature with my students. This is going to be a great year!
Here is a link to the syllabus.
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays 8:20AM-8:50AM. I am not available Thursday mornings.
I also might be able to see you during 5th or 6th period. It would be a good idea to check about availability.
