As a child my passion was always caring for others. What better profession than nursing? My nursing career began in 2015 working on a medical surgical unit at Baylor Scott and White. My family moved in 2016 and I got a job as a postpartum nurse at a local hospital. I really enjoyed all the teaching I was able to provide to families . Once again, we moved in 2018 this time to Missouri. While living in Missouri, I was able to expand my nursing career. I got hired at a large teaching hospital. I worked as a float pool nurse for over a year.  Working as a float pool nurse gave me so many opportunities to work with a variety of patient types, diseases, and learn new skills. I knew that I wanted to get back into postpartum care, so in late 2019 I was hired at a children's hospital to work in the family Maternal unit as a postpartum nurse. My family grew and we wanted to get closer to our family. In 2022 we moved back to Texas where we have some family. I enjoyed being available for my children and knew that finding a job as a school nurse would be a great career. I started with Hutto ISD in 2022, and look forward to many more years! #hipponation
