Welcome to Mrs. Carter's kindergarten class! We have a terrific year of awesome activities and adventures planned!  I am excited to be part of a fabulous kindergarten team in a great school that is dedicated to student success.  I love being part of Hippo Nation... Better Together!

My husband and I moved to Pflugerville from west Texas last summer to be near family.  We have two married children and two amazing granddaughters: Tatum is 18 months old and lives near us in Pflugerville; Piper is 8 weeks old and lives in Richmond, VA.   (Feel free to ask to see a picture or two!)  I've been a teacher for 22 years and have taught 4th grade, 1st grade, and Pre-K.  My passion is making sure children in my classroom know they are loved and that they are extraordinary!  In my spare time, I enjoy sipping a good cup of coffee, reading a good book, exploring the Austin area, and spending time with my family.
