Dear kids,
I wanted to let you know how much I miss seeing your beautiful faces. It has been really hard not to be able to talk with you and share laughter, high fives and hugs. I can't wait till all of this is over and we can be together again.
Remember that it is hard on your parents as well. Please try to help out at home and do what your parents are asking you to do. I know it is not easy, but this is hard on everyone and I know that you can do it. If you have siblings, try to get along as much as possible. This is a time that we can use to form closer relationships with our families. Go outside and get some fresh air, clean your room without being asked. Help load the dishwasher, there are so many things that you can do to LEVEL UP while all of this is going on. Please remember that I Love You and am thinking about you always.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. I was able to visit my dad and am so blessed to still have him in my life. It is always bittersweet leaving. It's hard to see your parents aging. I am so thankful for the many blessings in my life. Those blessings include your children. I am blessed to work at Nadine Johnson. I look forward to the joyous season ahead.
Happy Holidays

I am so proud of the students. They have been doing an amazing job.
I am so excited to have your child in my class. They are an inquisitive group and I look forward to having fun with them. I will send you all a message on Sunday's letting you know what we will be learning in Math and Science for the week ahead.
This week we will be reviewing place value and forms of numbers. In grade 3 we move up to the hundred thousands.
In Science we will be discussing ways to stay safe during science labs, and learning the scientific method. They will have their first lab this week to practice the sequence of the scientific method. My goal this year is to challenge everyone always and focus on solving problems. Please know that if your child is having difficulties that I will do everything in my power to get them up to speed. Math doesn't have to be scary and I want everyone to feel confident about their skills.
Thanks for all you do. We are better together!

BS Elementary Education
Ms. Elizabeth Page
I was born and raised in Massachusetts. I moved to Texas in 2004. I come from a large family with 3 older brothers an older sister, and 2 younger sisters. I live in Georgetown in rural Jonah.
I have 1 daughter that I adopted when she was in 2nd grade. I was teaching grade 1 and had her as a student. When her family goal changed to adoption, I knew that we were meant to be together. It has been an amazing journey especially because I now have a 3 year old grand baby named Thea. She is my world and I try to spend as much time with her as possible. My siblings are spread out over the country. I have a sister in Vermont, and 1 in Georgia. My oldest sister is here in Georgetown with her family. My oldest brother is in South Carolina, a brother who resides with me, and a brother that left this world far too young in a freak accident. My father still resides in Massachusetts in the city I was born and raised, and my mom passed in 2013. I absolutely love animals and have far too many at this point. I have 5 dogs, 1 cat, 2 goats, 4 ducks, and 13 hens. Thank goodness I have some land to house them all.
I have a BS in Elementary Education with a focus in social sciences. I love teaching science because of all the inquiry. In the past I have brought insects, worms, snails, ducks, chickens, and my goat to school. The kids have had a blast getting to learn all about different animals. This is my 29th year in education. I have taught grade 1, grade 4 and grade 5 and now grade 3 at NJES for the second year.
I love my job and work hard to ensure all of my students get the best education possible. I am a hands on teacher and strive to make your child's learning experiences fun. I truly believe that students should WANT to come to school every day. I also believe that ALL kids can learn and impact the learning of others.
I know this is going to be a great year, and I look forward to adding all of you to my extended family. I will love your child like my own.
