My name is Mr. Cueva.  I started as an 8th grade Math teacher, and now I am preparing to start my fourth year in the 5th grade. I graduated from Western Governors University many years ago.  I started my studies at the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, Texas.   After living in McAllen, Texas, we decided to move to Hutto. We have been living  here since 2014.

I was born in El Salvador and was raised in Matamoros, Mexico, where I met my wife Otilia (also a teacher) and have been married for 17 years. I also have been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Marianna, a graduate of Texas A&M. She was a middle school Language Arts teacher, and now decided to go back to teaching; and Gabriela, a graduate of UT Austin, and she will continue her studies in neuroscience.

I am looking forward to meeting all my students.  We will have such an amazing year learning from each other.

Yo soy el Sr. Cueva. Comencé dando clases en la escuela intermedia, y ahora  me estoy preparando para mi cuarto año dando clases de 5to grado en esta maravillosa escuela. Me gradué de la universidad Western Governors. Comencé mis estudios en la universidad de Texas Panamericana en Edinburg, Texas. Después de haber vivido en McAllen, Texas, mi familia y yo decidimos mudarnos a Hutto. Hemos estado aquí desde 2014.

Yo nací en El Salvador, pero crecí en Matamoros, México, donde conocí a mi esposa Otilia (que también es maestra). Acabamos de cumplir 17 años de casados. He sido bendecido con dos hermosas hijas: Marianna, que se graduó de la universidad de Texas A&M. Ella dió clases de artes de lenguaje en una escuela intermedia, y ha decidido regresar a ser maestra; y Gabriela, se graduó este año de la universidad de Texas en Austin,  y continuará estudiando una carrera de neurociencia.

Espero con entusiasmo conocer a todos mis estudiantes. Mi deseo es tener un año escolar estupendo trabajando y aprendiendo juntos.
