Hi! My name is Chelsea Velasquez and I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade this year!

I grew up in Houston (more specifically Cypress). In 2007 I graduated and moved to San Marcos to pursue my degree. I graduated from Texas State University in 2011 with a bachelors degree in early childhood education ec-6. In the spring of 2020 I graduated with my masters degree in educational leadership. In the past I have taught third and fourth grade. This is my fourth year in Hutto ISD and my third year as a 5th grade teacher. I could not be more excited to work in the district in which I live!

I am married to my wonderful husband Jason and we have a little girl together. 

 In my spare time I love reading and traveling. In the fall I love spening my time watching football. GO TEXANS! :) I also love everything Disney! I love it so much that its where we got married. 

Teaching is truly my passion. My goal this year is to help your student learn and to love learning. Please feel free to reach out to me with any concerns and questions that you may have.
