Hello, my name is Lupita Gonzalez and I am a 2nd grade Dual Language Teacher.  This is my 4th year at Ray Elementary, but it is my 28th year of teaching.  I am excited to make this my best year yet.  

I graduated from University of Texas Pan-American with a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and a minor in English.  Along those studies I also completed the traditional education studies of Pre-K early childhood through sixth grade, which prepared me to teach in all these grade levels.  I hold a certification to teach Pre-k through sixth grade, Bilingual/ESL and Special Education.   I continued my studies and graduated from St. Thomas University in Houston Texas with a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I am so excited to be part of the excellent staff and faculty at Ray Elementary as well as part of the Legendary Hipponation.

Hola, soy la Sra. Lupita Gonzalez. Este año escolar seré maestra en 2do grado Lenguaje Dual. Este es mi cuarto año en Ray Elementary y celebro 28 años de enseñanza. ¡Estoy emocionada de hacer este mi mejor año! 

Me gradué de la Universidad de Texas Pan-American con Licenciatura en español e inglés. Junto a esos estudios complete los estudios de educación tradicional, Pre-K niñez temprana hasta sexto grado. Esto me preparo para ensenar en estos niveles. Tengo certificación para ensenar primara hasta sexto grado, Bilingüe/ESL y Educación Especial. Continúe mis estudios y gradué de la Universidad de St. Thomas en Houston Texas con Maestría en Currículo e Instrucción. 

Soy muy afortunada en ser parte de este excellente equipo de maestros en Ray e igual en ser parte de una Hiponación Legendaria.
