Hi!  My name is Mrs. Fulp and I am so excited to to be a part of the staff at Hutto and Ray Elementary School!  More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your gifted and talented teacher this year!  It is going to be a fun year full of learning and adventures! We will be a project-based classroom this year, which means we will do lots of fun stuff (more about that later). I want to get to know all about you, but here is a little about me first!

I grew up in Hutto and graduated from Hutto High School!  After high school, I attended Texas State University - San Marcos (formerly, SWT) where I majored in elementary education.  I could NOT WAIT to graduate so I could have a classroom of my own.  I am entering my 16th year of teaching with previous experience in 3^rd-5^th grades.  I am looking forward to a year full of growing academically and personally.

I am married and we have 1 child - Delaney (who will be in 8th grade this year), 1 lab, 2 cats, and a crazy, rambunctious mutt. ;-)  In my spare time I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, Crossfit, shopping, and spending time with family!  I LOVE flavored water, unsweetened tea, dark chocolate and I love cactus, hippos, & have a slight obsession with office supplies! 

I believe that teaching is a privilege as well as a responsibility.  I will do my best to ensure that everyone has a motivating and safe learning experience in the classroom, but I can’t do it alone; I’ll need your help!  We are partners in the learning process, thus, I have an open door policy.  Come visit, call, or email if any questions arise or you just need to make a comment/offer a suggestion.  

I am really looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new families, so… let’s get started!   We are going to have a B.L.A.S.T.!!
