MARCH 2019

We use the Wilson Program in our district, to help meet the needs of students served in the Dyslexia Progam. Students are also using Chrome books and learning to use C-pens, our text- to- speech and dictionary assistive technology purchased through a Hutto Education Foundation grant.

I have enjoyed working with students for over 25 years. This is my 5th yr. at Nadine Johnson Elementary. I have also been assigned to Howard Norman and Veterans' Hill in the past. Last year, I served as UIL Spelling 4th grade coach, with students selected for 3rd and 5th place in district.

To learn more about individual learning, I completed additional graduate studies in the Educational Diagnostician program, Midwestern State University, TX. I am currently a Licensed Educational Diagnostician, Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) and Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner (WDP).
