HELLO!

My name is Kelly Marchand and I am one of the Special ED Resource/Inclusion teachers here at Nadine Johnson along with the Department Chair for the SpEd department.  This is my 7th school year at Nadine Johnson and 3rd year in Special Education.  I began as the PE aide here at NJES for four years and then moved to Special Education 3 years ago. 

I received my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology along with my PE Teaching credential from Califronia State Univeristy Fullerton.  I have taught PE for 9 yrs at both the middle school and elementary school level.  

I am originally from Orange County, California.  I moved to The Woodlands, TX in 2005 and have been in Austin since 2009. My husbands' name is Jeremiah and we have four beautiful daughters Saibree(Sophmore at TLU), Makailyn(Senior in HS), Kylie(Freshamn in HS), and Raegan(6th).  All my girls play select soccer, so when I'm not at school I am on the soccer field.  Teaching and being a soccer mom are my life and I wouldn't change it for the world! 

Spare time is very foreign to me, but if I do get spare time I love to go get a mani/pedi with my friends, go to the movies, catch up on errnads, swim in our pool, relax in the hot tub, or just relax at home :)
