I started teaching at Nadine Johnson the 2006-2007 school year. I have seen the school go through many changes and I'm still loving being here getting to see all my students grow old with me. I am the Elementary Physical Education Liaison for our district and also the yearbook editor for our school.
I am married and have a daughter that goes to Farley MS in Hutto. We have a dog named Rossi and a cat named Stormy.
My teaching style: Have fun while working hard! I belive Elementary PE should be an introduction to all things sports, fitness and health. They probably will not become experts at any one thing but they will go away knowing they have tried it all. I want every student to have fun but I run a very structured classroom. Students will have a lot of opportunity to get their wiggles out and there will be times that they will have to stop and listen as well.
Soccer is my favorite sport. I have played soccer since I was in 4th grade. When I was in college I played soccer at University of Incarnate Word. I am currently on an adult female kickball team in Round Rock.
