Hello, and welcome to my teacher website!

My name is Rebecca (Becky) Bales and I excited to be part of the staff at both Cottonwood Creek Elementary and Howard Norman Elementary.  I am THRILLED to be your Gifted and Talented teacher this year.  It's going to be fantastic year of learning and collaboration! I look forward to getting to know my students, but here's a little about me first.

I received my degree in Elementary Education and English for Speakers of Other Languages from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas.  I have been an elementary teacher for 15 years with most of those years in 4th and 5th grade math.  I am also beginning my 5th year of coaching Robotics at Howard Norman Elementary.  Joining Hippo Nation has been a blessing to my family and we are thankful for this inviting, proud, and rapidly growing community.  I am excited to begin another great year here at Hippo Nation!
