Mrs. Rosas-Moreno

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Rosas-Moreno and I teach 6th grade World Cultures. I am delighted to be your child's teacher during this transitional year into middle school.  This will be my twelfth year teaching in Hutto. I have also taught Language Arts and Writer's Workshop in the past and I continue to serve as an UIL coach.

My hobbies are traveling, beach combing, bird watching, camping, coin collecting, gardening, hunting thundereggs, sewing, and reading.

I have lived in Texas for the past 22 years. Before Texas, I lived in California, Oregon, Washington State, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Guam and New Mexico. I have been blessed to have many opportunities to travel and see many different cultures from around the world.  I graduated from Texas A&M Kingsville-Proud to be a Javalina!

I have a husband, children, grandchildren and dogs! My husband continues to be my favorite in the bunch!

I am very excited about this year! I feel the opportunity to teach your child is a privilege and a responsibility. It is going to take effort and hard work from all of us to ensure a successful year for your student. I will do my best to motivate, encourage and appreciate your child and all the gifts he or she will bring to my classroom.

Communication between parents and teachers is an important tool for academic success. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns about your student. E-mail is the best way to reach me. I can be reached at susan.rosas@huttoisd.net

Let's make this a LEGENDARY year!
