Philosophy of Education
My teaching philosophy is to be an effective instructor, by fostering a positive and safe learning environment that will be interactive and collaborative by promoting problem solving and critical thinking skills for all students. In the classroom, I employ a variety of instructional strategies to enhance the learning environment. Cooperative learning, inquiry based learning, and incorporation of technology are a few of the teaching methods that I use in my classroom.
As an educator I expect great things from ALL my students. I will strive to integrate material whenever possible to emulating real life scenarios where learning requires many different types of knowledge. I will teach to multiple intelligences (linguistic, visual, auditory, kinesthetic) to engage all students that I have the opportunity to serve.
“I am not a teacher but an awakener.”
