Position: Math Interventionist

The goal of the Math Interventionist is to assist students who have been identified as at-risk with math intervention to provide a continuum of support and help them get on grade level.

About Me:
I was born in Austin, Texas and I have lived in the Austin area my whole life. I graduated from Texas A&M University and I have been teaching elementary for 14 years. I have taught 5 years of 2nd grade, 5 years of 3rd grade, and I have spent the remaining time as an intervention teacher. I enjoy helping kids and love to see when students make mistakes and can figure it out, their faces light up. I hope to instill that never give up attitude, even when faced with challenges that only seem impossible at first. All things are possible when given enough time and scaffolded support.
