I grew up in Lubbock and graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Early Childhood. This is my sixteenth year in education, fifteen of which have been in Hutto ISD as a pre-k teacher. My husband and I live in Taylor with our one year-old daughter and our 3 cats. I enjoy traveling, gardening, and reading, especially trivia and history.
My passion is teaching early childhood because it is the foundation for future school success. Hutto ISD's pre-k program is well-rounded and teaches much more than just academic skills; there is a huge focus on social/emotional development, and it also includes fine arts and physical education.
I firmly believe student success depends on parental involvement, so I ask that you maintain open contact with me and support your child’s learning. Together, we can make your child's first year of school memorable!
