Volunteering

Lend a Hand

The Mission of the Board, administration, and staff of Hutto ISD is to inspire our students to be bold, innovative thinkers that are prepared for an unlimited future through strong academic programs, and overall school activities that involve our parents, community, and all members of Hippo Nation.

By volunteering once per week, month, or year can make a difference in our student's education and their lives and help achieve the goals set forth for each student. Below are the forms and information you will need to become a volunteer in any school in Hutto ISD.

In order to become a volunteer in Hutto ISD, complete the application process, which includes a background check screening.  Every volunteer must complete the background process. There are no exceptions to this process. Volunteers must also be at least 16 years of age with a valid ID. Any volunteer between 16 and 18 years of age MUST be a Hutto ISD student.

Steps:

  1. Apply as a Hutto ISD Volunteer via the Volunteer Portal
  2. Choose the volunteer options that work best for you
  3. You will receive an email when your volunteer application has been approved

Once approved, your name is added to the campus/district volunteer list and the volunteer opportunities are endless!
