Hutto ISD Licensing Program
Hutto ISD protects the integrity of its trademarks while providing approved schools, organizations, businesses and vendors opportunities to use official Hippo Nation marks.
Hutto ISD Trademark Licensing
Hutto Independent School District is the owner of various trademarks protected by both federal registration and common law trademark rights. These marks are used to identify the District’s educational services, extracurricular activities and programs.
As the owner of these trademarks, Hutto ISD is the only entity with permission to use or market these marks unless the District grants permission to another individual or organization.
The Trademark Licensing Program allows outside vendors and groups an opportunity to use Hutto ISD marks while helping the District protect the consistency and integrity of the Hippo Nation brand.
Permission to use the name, logo, spirit marks or wordmarks of Hutto ISD may be granted to external entities and organizations on a case-by-case basis.
Who Needs a License?
Licensing requirements depend on how Hutto ISD trademarks will be used. Review the information below to determine which process applies to you.
Hutto ISD Schools, Student Groups or School-Support Organizations
A royalty is not required on merchandise being supplied directly to Hutto ISD, a Hutto ISD school, an officially recognized Hutto ISD Parent Teacher Association/Organization, the Hutto ISD Education Foundation, officially recognized booster clubs, or a school-sponsored student organization when used for a school-related purpose.

Outside Vendors or Individuals
Businesses or individuals who intend to sell goods or merchandise for profit bearing the name, logo, spirit marks or wordmarks of Hutto ISD must participate in the District’s Trademark Licensing Program.
The Hutto ISD Trademark Licensing Program requires a $100 annual licensing fee.
Quarterly Reporting
Licensees will report sales of Hutto ISD-branded merchandise each quarter and remit a 10% royalty on the sale of licensed products to Hutto ISD.

Complete Your Payment
After your request is received, Hutto ISD will provide you with a link to pay the $100 annual licensing fee.

Receive Your Branding Folder
Once payment is completed, your Hutto ISD branding folder will be emailed to you within 24–48 business hours. The folder will include approved logo files and branding resources for licensed use.

Hutto ISD 2026-2027 License Holders
The businesses below are approved Hutto ISD license holders for the 2026–2027 licensing year and may manufacture products featuring trademarked district and campus logos.
Hutto ISD license holders are required to follow District branding guidelines governing how logos may be displayed, reproduced and used. Licensees report sales of Hutto ISD-branded merchandise quarterly and remit a 10% royalty on the sale of licensed products.
