The Student Influencer Program empowers creative, tech-savvy students to spotlight life across Hippo Nation—sharing events, stories, and school spirit from a student’s perspective.

Who Should Apply?

As we look forward to our second year of student influencers, we’re excited to welcome students who are:

  • Creatives, storytellers, or digital trendsetters

  • School-connected peers—active in athletics, fine arts, clubs, or academics

  • Diverse voices who reflect the many experiences across Hutto ISD

What You’ll Gain

As a Student Influencer, you’ll:

  • Gain real-world content creation experience

  • Participate in marketing photoshoots and campaigns

  • Develop your public speaking through teasers and event presentations

  • Gain event planning and management exposure

  • Build a portfolio-worthy presence on official platforms

  • Earn recognition in District communications and potential recommendation letters

  • Jump-start your professional brand!

    Application* must include all social media handles, and a 1 minute video answering: Why you want to be a part Hutto ISD Student Influencer? What kind of content you would want to create or highlight for our District? And what makes your voice unique?  Applications for the 2026-27 school year are due April 20 at midnight. 

    * Rising 5th Graders use a separate Application;
  • Student Influencer Permission and Participation Form 
    Required for participation—provides parents permission for the student's participation in the student influencer program. Form will be sent to parents of all students selected for the program.
