Public comment is available at regular Board meetings, regardless of whether the topic is listed on the posted agenda. Requests may be submitted online or completed in person before the meeting deadline.
Online Deadline
Submit by 6 p.m.
Online public comment card requests must be submitted by 6 p.m. on the evening of the meeting.
In-Person Deadline
Submit by 7 p.m.
In-person public comment cards are available at the entrance of the Board Room and must be submitted by 7 p.m.
Speaking Time
Three Minutes
An individual's comments to the Board shall not exceed three minutes per meeting. A spokesperson for a group is also allowed three minutes.

Submit a Comment Card
Complete the online public comment form by 6 p.m. on the meeting day, or complete an in-person card at the Board Room entrance by 7 p.m.
Wait for Public Comment
Public comment begins immediately following executive session. If comments are related to an agenda or action item, speakers may be called before the Board begins deliberation on that item.
Address the Board
Speakers are allotted three minutes. Group spokespersons are also allowed three minutes, and other members of the group must be recognized by the presiding officer in order to speak.
