Public Comment During Board Meetings

At regular Board Meetings, the Board shall permit public comment, regardless of whether the topic is an item on the agenda posted with notice of the meeting. Individuals who wish to participate during the portion of the meeting designated for public comment shall fill out a public comment card on the night of a meeting which is made available at the entrance of the Board Room (located within the Hutto ISD Administration Building at 200 College Street) by 7 p.m.

The public may also submit a comment card online by clicking on the link below. Online comment card requests must be filled out by 6 p.m. the evening of a meeting.

Public comment begins immediately following the executive session. An individual's comments to the Board shall not exceed five minutes per meeting. A spokesperson for a group shall be allowed five minutes to make a presentation to the Board. Other persons in the group must be recognized by the presiding officer in order to be allowed five minutes to speak.
