    Chromebooks
Various dates have been scheduled for secondary students to check out Chromebooks for the year. Additional information and checkout dates can be found here.

Students from any middle school, Ninth Grade Center, or Hutto High School can pick up their chromebook at any of the following times and locations:

    Thursday August 4 - Hutto MS 9 - 11 a.m.

    Friday August 5 - Farley MS 9 - 11 a.m.

Back to School Rally - August 6, 9 - 11 a.m. at Hutto Memorial Stadium

    Tuesday August 9 - Hutto Middle School 4 - 6 p.m.

    Wednesday August 10 - Farley Middle School 4 - 6 p.m.

    Friday August 12 - Hutto Middle School 8 - 10 a.m.

Hutto ISD strongly recommends the annual “optional device insurance” to provide parents with the peace of mind of knowing they will not be burdened with large out of pocket expenses for uncovered repairs, replacement, or loss. The district has created a self-insurance fund to offset the cost of repairs, maintenance, and device replacement. Without the optional device insurance, parents are charged for the cost of repairs for accidental damage.  For example, a cracked screen is $156 and a total device loss such as from a water spill is $300. For more information or to purchase the device insurance online, see this link.

Note: The optional device insurance is good for one school year. If you bought insurance last year, please be sure to purchase it again for the new school year to maintain coverage.
