Hutto ISD To Be Closed from March 23 - May 3
By executive order of the Governor of Texas, Hutto ISD has suspended normal operations and closed facilities through May 3.
Should health conditions improve throughout the state and the Governor lift the order, we expect to resume classes on Monday, May 4.
During this time, all Hutto ISD facilities will be closed for instruction. The closure also includes UIL events, athletics, rentals, field trips, and after-school activities.
We remain in daily communication with all Williamson County school districts, as well as pertinent health and government agencies.
As anticipated, novel coronavirus has spread to Williamson County. The county, city, and school district have been working diligently to prepare for this moment. Now more than ever it is pertinent we adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines. In an effort to provide the most accurate and up to date information, we ask that you refer to the guidance of the same governing agencies we refer to for direction. Please find the links to their respective organizations listed below. District specific information will be distributed via email to our families and community partners.
The best way to stop/slow the spread of COVID-19 is to minimize your exposure by remaining home and limiting your non-essential interactions with others.
