    Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support Sytem (T-TESS) Training Plan

    T-TESS Teacher Orientation
    An overview and introduction of the T-TESS system and process.  Teachers will also explore the T-TESS rubric and pre-conference process.
     
    3 hours Required training for all teachers new to T-TESS.  To be conducted as part of the campus PD prior to the start of school.
         
    Goal Setting Process
    Provides teachers with and understanding of the T-TESS goal setting process.
    30-45 minutes Training should be delivered within the first six weeks of school
         
    Post Conference
    Provides teachers with an overview of the post conference process.
     
    30-45 minutes Training should be delivered by the end of September
         
    End of Year Conference
    Provides teachers with an overview of the end of year conference process.
     
    30-45 minutes Training should be delivered by the end of February
         
    Exploring the T-TESS Rubric
    Provides teachers the opportunity to explorte the T-TESS rubic and make connections to the practice of teaching.
     
    30-45 minutes Used to help teachers make connections to the practice of teaching while reviewing the rubric.
