Skyward Family Access Attendance & Online Absence Requests
Skyward Family Access allows parents to view details for all student absences and tardies. In addition, you can submit absence requests online if your student will be absent to notify the attendance office accordingly.
Log Into Family Access.
After you log into Family Access, click the Attendance button on the left menu to access the attendance screen. Detailed information about your student's absences will appear on this screen.
You can notify your student's attendance office about an absence using the online absence request feature. Click on the link Absence Request in the blue bar in the middle of the screen. Then click Add Request. On the next window, enter the date of the absence along with the Reason (Absent - Family Notification), and detailed Comments about the absence reason. Click Save.
Your request will be emailed to the attendance office for processing. **Please note: Attachments, such as Doctor's notes, will still need to be emailed to your Campus Attendance Clerk or dropped off in-person to the campus front office.**
