Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. LaTifia Jackson

Austin native, I graduated from LBJ high school in 2009. I attended Prairie View A&M University for two years after high school. After college, I moved to Ft. Worth, Texas and became a behavior therapist for children with autism.  Using my gifts of music, dance and teaching, I helped misunderstood children with therapy through music and dance.  In 2015, I moved back to Austin and naturally found my way back to teaching. I then was employed with Manor ISD as the Oak Meadows Elementary School dance teacher. I served two years as the dance specials teacher for all grades, including SPED. In 2019, I decided to make a career change and go back to the very thing I loved, behavior. I joined The Farley Middle School family as a new addition to the Solid Roots team, now called BASE. I am now back in school online at Liberty University to finish my degree in Social Work in hopes to continue to help others that are in need. In my spare time I enjoy teaching dance to children who share the same passion to express themselves freely.
