TSPRA Awards 2026

Hutto Independent School District’s Communications & Community Relations team has been recognized among the top school communication programs in Texas, earning 19 awards at the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) Star Awards, including two Best of Category honors. The Office of Communications & Community Relations was also named a Crystal Award finalist, one of the association’s highest levels of recognition, for superior event planning and partnership during the 2025 Back to School Rally.

Walraven

Hutto ISD today announced Casey Walraven as its next head varsity football coach. Walraven arrives in Hippo Nation with 15 years of head coaching experience, including the last five seasons building Alvarado ISD into one of the top 4A programs in the state. Walraven boasts a reputation as one of the elite offensive minds in Texas high school football.
