Hutto ISD is proud to announce that Benji Adams and Anna Moldenhauer, school counselors at Hutto Elementary School, have been awarded the CREST Award by the Texas Counseling Association.
Hutto ISD has once again been recognized as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) District of Distinction by the Career and Technical Association of Texas (CTAT). It’s the District’s second consecutive year receiving this prestigious honor.
Hutto ISD finalized the purchase of two key land tracts to serve as future sites for district facilities, reinforcing the District’s commitment to growth, innovation, and ensuring students remain college, career, and military ready.
Hutto High School alum Will Hammond (#15) leads the Texas Tech Red Raiders onto the field. The Class of 2024 graduate has been making headlines in Lubbock – and this week, he made Hippo Nation proud by earning both Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and Big 12 Freshman of the Week honors.
Hutto Independent School District now has 12 campuses with the Purple Star Campus Designation—100% of all eligible schools—underscoring the district’s commitment to military-connected students and their families. The Purple Star Campus Designation recognizes schools that go above and beyond to support the unique needs of military-connected students.

For senior Brylen Adams, welding began as one of several interesting course options at Hutto High School.

In his first year leading Hippo Football, Head Coach Eli Reinhart guided Hutto to a history-making season defined by resilience, emerging traditions and a renewed sense of unity.
