Howard Norman Elementary, Hutto ISD’s sixth elementary school, will open next fall for the 2016-17 school year.
A new school means attendance zones have to be redrawn in such a way to create balance among all schools.
Hutto ISD met with demographers and came up with three possible attendance zones for the 2016-17 school year.
A public meeting to discuss the attendance zone options was held Wednesday, January 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Hutto High School.
On February 11, 2016, at its regularly scheduled board meeting, the Hutto ISD Board of Trustees selected Plan 1 as the new attendance zone boundaries for the 2016-17 school year.
The new zone maps for elementary and middle schools are attached. In addition, a cross reference street guide is also attached.
Information regarding transfers will be communicated beginning Monday, February 15.
Questions regarding the new attendance zones may be e-mailed to email@example.com.
